Holy Trinity CofE Primary School

Holy Trinity C of E Primary School

School Vision and Aims

At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School we are proud of our strong Christian ethos, which is at the heart of all that we do. We want all of our school community to flourish and live life in all of its fullness (John 10:10). We want children and adults to start, or strengthen their spiritual journey, during their time at Holy Trinity.
Our aim is to ensure that we all are Growing together as children of God.

We want our pupils to grow in confidence, independence, resilience and knowledge, so that all achieve their full potential and develop a life-long love of learning.

We work together with families, community and church to model positive relationships, supporting each other, and acknowledging that we are stronger when we work together.

We are growing together as children of God, strengthening our faith, secure in the knowledge we are unique, loved and cherished.

At the heart of our Christian vision is the story of the healing of the paralysed man, from Matthew 9:1-8. This healing reminds us of the importance of friendship, care for others, trust and forgiveness - these are all at the centre of our school.
To help us all Grow together as children of God we follow our Growing Together Rules, based on Matthew 7 verse 12, 'Treat others as you want them to treat you.'
  • Be respectful
  • Be kind
  • Be safe
  • Be ready
Please read our most recent SIAMS (Church) Inspection Report, February 2018, where the school was rated outstanding.
Worship and Prayer
Worship and prayer are central to the life of our school. Our daily act of Christian worship helps us to focus on God, right at the start of the day. Our worship seeks to be inclusive, invitational and inspirational, through bible stories, singing praises to God and praying. Our termly Eucharist offers an opportunity, for those who wish to, to take bread and wine in order to remember the death of Jesus. The school regularly visits Holy Trinity church for services, which are often led by our Growing Together in Spirit team.

Prayer spaces in the school entrance and in classrooms encourage prayer throughout the day.
